Mentor is creating 35 jobs in Shannon, says Irish politician

LONDON — EDA company subsidiary Mentor Graphics Ireland Ltd. is creating 35 jobs in Shannon in the west of Ireland, according to Tony Killeen, the local representative in the Irish parliament.

The Irish government did not say what the Mentor employees would be doing or whether Shannon Development had offered an incentive in terms of money or tax relief, to encourage Mentor to expand in Shannon.
